CNBLUE in Manila!

I was not there. That's a very sad fact. Sad is an understatement. For years I and my few friends were following CNBLUE. Okay we are FANGIRLS and I don't have to expound that term for you. I've been to two CNBLUE concerts but still, having it in our own country will make it more special, more awesome! You see Philippines or should I say Manila is so thirsty with Kpop compared to our neighboring countries. I am not sure of the fanbase of Kpop in Philippines overall, but there's been concert here and there and a yearly Kpop convention that started in 2009, which makes it hard to believe that Manila will be one of the last places when it comes to concert like this.

I thank those guys who made the effort to let CNBLUE come to Manila. I am skeptical but hopeful for that to happened and it did. I remember voting for the survey that they did last year. It is just a bliss to see it actually happened, even my title of this post "CNBLUE in Manila"!

To make things more fun for the Pinoy fans, CNBLUE had a press con SM Megamall. I asked my sister to go there, for the fear of just a few fans will show up. But man, I was mistaken big time! Another reason why I asked her was, I know that one way or another she'll get to get pass security people, and there she was, in front row (or the sides) bearing production pass and see my boys, up close! can I cry now? waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

We are so envious because I for once flew to Hong Kong twice to see them live, get up so early in the morning to get the best tickets to see them as close a possible, but her, my little sister, just a jeepney ride and metro ride, boom! CNBLUE in her face. She was not even a fan. Though she finds Minhyuk cute. What made her more lucky is she got a copy of the coverage of the presscon that almost did not happen for the fans are getting crazy or CRAZY. Any Pinoy Boice will go wild after waiting for years. And yes I am bitter, we are bitter! hehe!

RX93.1 - CNBLUE in Philippine Airwaves

When I get tired of listening to NU107, one of the radio station that I switched to is RX93.  Another reason to love RX is they are paying attention to CNBLUE.  Although I hear some sarcasm on the other DJ probably rolling his eyes too, but hearing CNBLUE in the Philippine airwaves, I'll forgive him.  So apparently on a segment KPOP GOES MY HEART, RX will choose an artist and play one of their songs yay! So the first one for CNBLUE is I'm a Loner which happens to be DJ Jinri Park's CNBLUE fave song.

Below is the audio uploaded on youtube by boiceph.  Now the only missing is the concert!  Hope I'll get concrete news soon.  Now they need 5000 likes I think.  With the time, money and love that Boices (yes Tom we are called Boices) invests on CNBLUE, I believe we merit a 2-hr concert!  I hope CNBLUE will wrap up their side projects and do some music.  I really feel that the promotions for Ear Fun was immaturely halted.

I wonder what will be the song for tomorrow as they say they will play one song of the featured KPop artist for a week.  I hope its "In my Head".  Which reminds me that we still have not ordered the SE MTV Unplugged.

Hey You CNBLUE! I miss you guys!  But I think that made Yong Hwa have some time to build those biceps! yum yum!

 

Happy Labor Day!!!

All of us have labor woes.  Right now I have an outstanding request to my employer that the possibility of it being granted is dim.  Labor day simply means a holiday to me (well at least while I am in Philippines).  Every 1st of May the streets of Manila and other major cities in the Philippines will be full of demonstrators that are not getting tired to carrying placards and yell for a wage hike.  I wonder when will be a time when laborers will go the streets and simply thank God that they have a job.  I just actually thought about it right now and displeased to myself for that seeing the 1st of May to be an opportunity to really thank God for me being capable of having a job.

I thank God for my job, that I have a job, that He give me strength and wisdom everyday to perform my job.  Let us be reminded and comforted with the verses below.  Happy Labor Day!
