I kinda stop stalking Kim Hyun Joong... of course virtual stalking! Below is his performance at 2011 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards)! Hope he will soon ditch the blonde hair.. and to see him in a drama! Forgot to say that he won an awardfor Male Single Award!
In the recently concluded 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards, CNBLUE got to get home another award! Too bad they are not there to receive the award. I missed the broadcast, but I'm sure its in youtube at no time.
Was so busy today! So long 'petiks mode' a.k.a. virtual stalking CNBLUE! hehehe. I was not able to finish everything in the office even if I left almost 9pm.
Kpop playing on my winamp... starting with 2PM I chose 2PM coz its night! hehe then Bigbang, then SNSD then FT Island and of course CNBLUE. Trying to know all songs of CNBLUE in preparation for the January 8 concert!
I want to lessen my CNBLUE intake in a day due to my previous experience. I had too much of Twilight and when finally its out in the cinema and watching the premiere I ended up laughing almost half of the screening! Remembering it still makes me laugh and I don't want that to happened AGAIN! Not when I am going out of the country to see them.
Anyway, while doing by OT, I was listening to the song 'Wanna be Like You' from the album Voice. I like that song! The thing about CNBLUE's song is that you can like a lot of their songs.. now don't roll your eyes.. its true not just because I am a fan! I looked at google to see who wrote it and to check if its entirely Jong Hyun oppa singing that song. A result got me to youtube and its a fancam (dunno when that word came out) of CNBLUE's performance at Shibuya, minus Yong Hwa oppa... and its Jong Hyun oppa and Jung Shin chingu singing! Then I clicked on another vid and another! Super like! I stopped looking for more after that video.. 1 its because its way pass no. 1 am, no. 2 I still want to have surprises on next year's concert!
Been reading a lot of their interviews over at CNBluestorm and my angel Klaritia, some are already a year old too bad was not there at the beginning. Now I think they are more polished compared last year but I hope they are as warm as ever! I can see how Yong Hwa oppa looks into the crowd and gives a stare..haaayyyy.. can't wait!
Will be writing about Yong Hwa's guitar.. on that vid he is using Gibson, i think its a Les Paul.. one of the finest guitar! Rock on!
Just yesterday, I thought of how lucky Indonesian Boices are because there's a CN Blue meet and greet! I don't know for sure if its a privilege for those Royal Blue ticket holders, but maybe.
But sad..sad..sad.. news :( :( :( according to CN Blue's official site (its in Korean, you can translate it in translate.google.com) its cancelled! I feel for those Indonesian Boice :( and I guess there are some fans coming from neighboring countries going to Indonesia just to see them! I don't know how much its going to hurt CN Blue.. I hope fans will understand that its not all CN Blue's fault. What's even worse is it was cancelLed just a few days before, like 2 days before! bummer! Those kind of promoters sucks! I had once a bad experience in watching foreign artists concert..they change the venue to a smaller one and I thought (since my ticket is a bit far.. that's the nearest that I can afford at that time) maybe I'll be situated outside the concert hall! I took a refund instead.. and yes its an Asian pop band..Tpop.. F4 (miss you guys!) hehe
Thailand.. now Indonesia... wait I'm to see them in Hong Kong! waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
I can't tell when I started to self-study the Korean language (hangul) or even thought of studying it. For years I've been watching Kdramas and Kmovies, but didn't bother or even consider learning their language. Although I really want to learn other languages, like French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, or even Chinese! I've already memorized Korean alphabet and can read (very slowly) Korean characters (thanks to dozens to sites who shares the passion of learning Korean). However, I'm not progressing..
But now its serious! I bought a CD last night it was an impulse buy actually. Its cheaper than the French CD that Nerie bought a whopping 399AED! I got mine for 149 AED which can be equivalent to a decent shoes.
look at the tag line "Know it FOREVER!" lol
I just asked the guy if it can check if I pronunciation is correct. He said yes, so I bought it. Good luck to me.. all I need is time! Now that is more challenging!
The boys are so busy that they could not even attend their local award ceremonies and so is FT Island according to allkpop website. Can't wait to see them in Hong Kong. Too bad they skipped Philippines. Its way too bad that they are going around countries "around" Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia and I bet they might gone to Malaysia and Singapore before. Aigoo!
Just having a break with tons of typing jobS.. and usually I visit JKS fan website! Again that site didn't fail to entertain me or should I say, Keun Suk didn't fail to entertain me!
My heart melted upon seeing this.. and really urged be to post something about it.
This is a year of discount vouchers/coupons! One fine day, I saw an ad on the right hand side of my facebook page. I clicked on it because of the big discounts that it offers. There are a lot of times that I want to purchase a voucher but still something is telling me that these vouchers have a 'catch'. You know, its not really a 'discount'. As I mentioned before, being in a margin a shopaholic, I still would want to be a wise spender. Also I was hesitant to try these vouchers because I'm afraid of being hooked. I consider these vouchers as temptations and I must admit that it is a very good marketing strategy. I mean who knows that there is a pizza place on that part of the city. Usually we would know restaurant that are in the malls and usually for the salons, you would only visit those which are just around the neighborhood (well at least for me). Below are some voucher sites and there are a lot more.
But now I finally manage to buy 4 vouchers for 4 pashmina and its free delivery! I hope everything will turn out good and no hassle. 75% off on those silk pashmina shawls!
Also on Saturday, I'll have a dhow cruise dinner and we will use again another voucher!
I shall confess that I was once a Twilight addict. I remember receiving the 4 books in PDF and then converted it to jpg file to fit my PSP (yes you can use psp as ebook reader). After reading one chapter I'm hooked! Then the rest was history...buying all the books, even dashing to the bookstore as early as the mall opened to get my already RESERVED book! LOL, I also have The Twilight Illustrated movie companion (or something like that), an ID holder with twilight lanyard, the movie house's magazine featuring of course twilight, the original OST - which I got from Philippines because it was not released in UAE (my sis sent it through our neighbor that was bound to Dubai), my wallet had Edward's picture (yikes!), I have Edward's bookmark (made by a friend which I suddenly become a friend because of Twilight). These are just to name a few.
Due to what happened in Thailand (I really don't know how much flood is still there in Thailand), the Bluestorm was moved to 25 February 2012. (more info here).
For a band that debuted in their country just last year , and already gaining recognition from their government is a milestone! I bet CNBLUE is honored to get Korean Popular Culture and Art Awards particularly Minister of Culture Award along with Jang Geun Suk, SNSD (Girls Generation) and other KPop artists! (see report)
Getting the tickets for CN Bluestorm encore performance was already difficult (waking up 6 am on a Friday, only to be denied of having Category 1 tickets). Now the next phase is how to get there meaning airfare and hotel.
At first I thought of simply going there for the concert. The concert will be held at Asiaworld Expo and its near the airport. So I planned of just plan of riding a Big City Bus tour in HK and go back to the airport and watch the concert and wait for my flight back home.
Now I realized why not visit Disneyland as well? Who doesn't like to go to Disneyland? I mean now Disneyland is more accessible. Before when I was a kid you either go to Tokyo or Florida to see Disneyland, now its just 2 hours away via plane.
Of course one challenge is how to have a cheap trip. I'm a strong believer of "A good trip need not to be expensive"! What we intend to do is watch the concert, go to Disneyland, shop and have an authentic Chinese dinner yay! I'm excited! I made some 'budgeting' and hopefully we can have this all over and done with this week.
Christmas is really around the corner! I've been seeing Cranberry line in Bodyshop which is my fave ever since and I actually bought one lip balm!
delicious! really smells like Christmas...
And the Starbucks Toffee Nut flavor is back!!! I didn't get a cup today, because I'm still full..
Colder nights.. cranberry and toffee nut.. makes you realize that Christmas is near. A nice time to be reminded of whats the reason for the season!
Just and update: I just remember my dream the other night, someone kissed me and at first I kinda hesitated, but after I realized that I just put on this tasty and lovely smelling lip balm, we went on and kiss!
Now I don't remember who was it..my subconscious is longing for a kiss and perhaps that the reason behind the dream.. aigoo!
Last night my flatmate/friend/sister-in-Christ Nerie, was looking for something to watch. Since my HDs are infested with Korean movies, I recommended "The Classic". I watched this a couple to weeks back after our choir practice.. I cried and used my blanket to wipe off my tears.. I cried on the part where Joon-ha was blown out by a land mine or a grenade (really can't tell) and was still holding the necklace. sniff..sniff.. (will not tell the rest I don't want to be a spoiler).
I don't usually watch again things I've already seen, except if I don't have any choice (like when the whole family is watching a movie on cable). But last night I partly watched it again with my friend and it reminded me that I still don't have the other OST tracks (the Korean songs). I've been looking for it especially the song of Kim Hyun Joong (yea I'm a fan!). Glad I came across this site.. bless the one who created and posted it! Listening to them now! Wish I could level up my hangul.
So what so special about that date? Well its all 11 and I think it will happen again after 100 years (or so). I am not superstitious or expecting anything great to happen on this day.. But to my surprise, great things happened today!!!
First, I taught to our Friday School class! yay! it was impromptu because our teacher was absent (get well soon!) I was hesitant and the same time afraid.. by the grace of God the class went well (I supposed) didn't see much question marks on their faces.. it was cold but my armpits are sweating! whew!
But another fantastic thing happened today! I got my CNBLUE tickets! Our ordeal started 6am.. I mean who is waking up 6am in Dubai on a Friday? But we don't mind coz we really have to be awake to buy the tickets.. ticket sale will open 10 am HK time.. so that's 6 am Dubai time. Although we did not get the front rows (believe me its difficult and you have to finish it for 10 minutes!), we managed to get the cat 2 tickets.. we are on the blue area .. wow blue.. for CNBLUE!
While I'm browsing CNBluestorm website (which what I do every morning), I clicked on CN Blue's Asian tour (still hoping that there will be a Manila leg). As I clicked on their Hongkong concert, it lead me to HKTicketing website I was surprised to see that there's another day for their concert in HK!
Yesterday I think I just surf about the concert 80% of my time in the office! LOL! I was hesitant to go because it falls on a Sunday which might be our church's Lord's Supper in which what I will come home for.
HK Concert Seat Plan and Prices
Now tomorrow I and my friend Shaui will have to wake up around 5 or 6am to get the ticket online! yebah! Hoping we'll get the closest to the stage and hope that CNBlue will hear our screams! And hope to see Disneyland on the side!
If we get the tickets tomorrow, I'll be smiling the whole day! and will be more willing to work on Saturdays coz I'll be spending a great deal of money for the hotel and airfare.
Dunno if their Bangkok concert will push through though coz I think Bangkok is still flooded.
Yesterday, after the day in the park (hope to post about it here.. later) we (Isamu, Dawn, Nerie, Lalai and Roda) headed to Outlet Mall. I should tell that I am not 100% that day.. dunno why.. but it must be the weather... its raining.. rain makes anyone gloomy..
I think we arrived at 4 and went home at around 9. So after 5 hours... I only got 1 black shirt from Esprit! and it's for my CN Blue shirt yay! wonder where will i put it.. or how big it should be..
this will be on my shirt!
I can really conclude that I was not 100% yesterday since after 5 hours of shopping, I only got 1 shirt! I love to shop.. I think I'm already on the margin of being a shopaholic..maybe its because I didn't have a decent coffee, the coffee that I got was from Mcdonalds that looks like the ground coffee has been brewed for 5 times... :(
Today I overloaded myself with CN Blue! So sad that I wasn't there from the beginning...I managed to see the Ygot band that sued CN Blue for "plagiarizing" I'm a Loner.. my thoughts.. well intro trumpet sound quite similar but the chorus isn't and its a totally 2 different song. Although some part of the way the Ygot front man sang that how oppa Yong Hwa sang it as well, but I don't think its plagiarized or even a riff off song! Though the Ygot band is a good band.. its just too bad that they have to drag CN Blue.. to have google hits or youtube hits.. its still hard to tell.. and this is not the first time we get to hear such especially to someone or even something suddenly become popular or getting a lot of bucks for that matter.. sad..sad...sad..
Anyway that would not change my CN Blue fondness!
I'm watching their documentary and really feel sorry when people say that they are just a fake band with pretty faces! of course not! duh?!
